I was not home when the counter top people came, and what serendipity that the appliances were delivered the same day?! Tofer sent us these pics with his phone. I’ll take a nicer photo once everything is put away and all the appliances are installed. It will be so good to finally have a working kitchen again!

Saima Kaur led a TextileArtist.org’s Stitch Club designed to make us smile by stitching brightly bold and whimsical figures, and I was inspired by ancient South African rock art.

My hand sewn fussy-cut EPP Hexie Dreams quilt is all ready to go to my gramma for hand quilting. Check out a few of my embellished hexies, and come back in the future for the finished product!

haha, the other afternoon I kept wishing you would offer me a cup of hot tea and then I remembered you had no way to prepare one….the counters look nice!!
Hehe, yep but next time I can offer you tea – I even have a full drawer dedicated to just tea!
